Grade 5 "SING"

SING!

Picture

You Gotta Watch Out!

You gotta watch out when the ghost’s come round.

You gotta watch out so you won’t be found.

For if they should find you and creep up behind you...

You gotta watch out when the ghosts come round!

*************************************************************************************************************

When ghosts and goblins come to town

And skeletons dance all around

Just pull those covers over your head and say....

Hey, Jack!

Boo! Shaka-laka-laka
Boo! Shaka-laka-laka
Boo! Shaka-laka-laka
Boo!
Boo! Shaka-laka-laka

Hey, Jack!  What’s up with that stare?
Hey, Jack!  Who you tryin’ to scare?
I don’t think you look that tough, and I want candy bad enough
That I’ll come walking right up to your door.

Hey, Jack!  What’s up with that face?
Hey, Jack!  Starin’ into space.
You have candles for a brain, and scarin’ kids is just a game
To keep you smiling every halloween.

Boo! Shaka-laka-laka

Improvisation:  to make, invent, or change on the spot

Sometimes we improvise different songs.  We can change the words, or we can keep the main idea of the song and change some of the melodies, tempos, or rhythms in the song.  Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a GREAT improviser.  Check out this video!  Afterwards, see if you can improvise (change) "I Say, You Say".  How did you do?
A veces improvisamos diferentes canciones.
